ROLE SUMMARY
As a Server Assistant at The Chase, you will play an essential role in delivering elevated service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for every guest. You will support the front-of-house team through efficient food running, attentive guest care, and strong coordination with servers and bartenders. Success in this role requires a solid understanding of our menu, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced, refined environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a strong understanding of our menu and confidently assist in describing dishes to guests when needed.
- Support food running by ensuring all dishes are delivered accurately, promptly, and with polished presentation.
- Maintain proactive water service and provide attentive assistance to guests throughout their visit.
- Ensure plates, glassware, cutlery, and other service items are consistently clean, polished, and readily available.
- Follow all opening, closing, and standard operating procedures to keep service flowing efficiently.
- Work closely with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure guest needs are met quickly and effectively.
- Keep server stations fully stocked, organized, and ready for each service period.
- Assist bartenders with restocking and other tasks to support smooth bar operations.
- Uphold high standards of personal grooming and professionalism, representing The Chase with pride.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Exceptional hospitality, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and speed.
- Able to work long-standing shifts and perform physical tasks like lifting and pushing.
- Flexible to work full-time hours (4+ shifts per week), including Monday availability, and evenings.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada at the time of application.
- Must have reliable means of transportation to commute to and from the restaurant, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
